The Fall 2026 Team

Outdoor Education at Camp Tecumseh consists of fun, educational, immersive, outdoor experiences for school groups. Each program is designed to seamlessly integrate with curriculum by meeting state educational standards for every grade level we serve. Our Outdoor Education staff get to facilitate and lead these unforgettable experiences in our natural, outdoor classroom to bring the schools’ curriculum to life.

    What is your favorite spot at Camp? Wolves Den

    Why did you choose to work in Outdoor Education? I love the opportunity we get working in OE to not only get students out of the classroom and into nature, but their parents and teachers as well! There is nothing sweeter than singing silly songs and laughing around a campfire with an entire school community.

    What is your favorite spot at Camp? One of my favorite spots at Camp is the lower Oak Forest area and the trails heading down to the creek.

    Why did you choose to work in Outdoor Education? I had worked at other camps and had heard about Tecumseh’s Outdoor Education program and wanted to experience nature in a fun, educational, and safe environment.

    What is your favorite spot at Camp? Next to Bowser in the Nature Center.

    Why did you choose to work in Outdoor Education? I chose to work in OE because I want to instill environmental stewardship in a new generation in a new and exciting way.

    What is your favorite spot at Camp? Trading Post freezer. Reminds me of the good ‘ole days (ice age). That, or the lake.

    Why did you choose to work in Outdoor Education? I love being able to be part of the positive impact that camp has on so many bright young minds. Being here has allowed me to grow in so many aspects of my own life such as confidence, leadership, initiative, and resilience.
